Perfect for city break. We could freely use free Wi-Fi. The hotel was adjacent to waimarino adventure park.

Peaceful quiet, tasefully furnished, so clean very obliging and helpful. We all loved it there. Beautiful breakfasts and everything we needed was there.

The decor was lovely made you feel as tho you were in another country, the breakfast was also lovely, with a toch of international delicacy, the location of the resort is very private with exceptional grounds. great for a romantic get away as well as room for a family. loved it.

we were in a room for two and i thort the room could have been bigger, maybe a lounge area.

Location to destination. It was very handy to where I needed to go and a nice quiet place to stay

They have a number of articleiarticles on bedbugs on the wall explaining why they do not use bedcoverings. This was somewhat disconcerting and maded you think of them when trying to sleep. I ended up feeling a bit scatchy !! There of course were none but I would have preferred not to have the articles on the wall. It seems odd all the same not to have standard bedding and the article seemed to be justification for not having standard bedding.

The surroundings, as they grounds are lovely and the facilities, the kids loved the games room

A mirror and bin in the bed room would have been useful. There were these in the bathroom

The towels were like sand paper, there are many stairs and no elevator.

We like the variety of things, which we could do at the hotel (swimming pool, tennis, garden walk, gym, TV/video) The host was friendly and attentive to the details and personal preferencies. The location was great to get rest and relax after busy city. The breakfast was excellent.

Next time I would like to be informed how much and when I have to pay in advance.

nice hotel & spacious rooms, quiet neigbourhood a little out of town

hard to find (only with GPS coordinates) - motel is outside tauranga, there is a second road with the same name

it was a very pleasant place to stay for our weekend getaway ,the owner was very good at his job and made us very welcome indeed,the place was spotless from floor to ceiling even the dining room /kitchen we could have eaten off the floor so clean

The website said it was a 5 star hotel, I don't believe this to be true, I would say 3-3.5star, but definately a good place to stay if you don't mind staying out of the city.

We enjoyed the friendly reception we received, the overall cleanliness of the resort in general and will definitely return. Our kids enjoyed the games room.

The Manager/Owner was welcoming, friendly and made good conversation. The place was clean comfortable quiet and relaxing.

The piece and quiet. Close to town without being in town. Good food and shopping close by at the nearest suburb. Very good host in Gunter. Nice relaxing breakfasts. Very clean and tidy, spacious room. We loved the setting with huge grounds and would love to do a family trip there in the summer.
